PV automates the maintenance of the virtual environment. Virtual PCs need to be patched just like regular PCs otherwise they could pose a security risk. Persystent captures the new image with the last patch or security update applied. Multiple images are stored and if a new patch conflicts with other core appliactions in your organization all machiines can be rolled back to the previous image within 30 seconds.
